The Dog Park

A dog park next to a kids playground, what could go wrong. Anyway it's a play for dogs and humans to kiss their dogs They seem to let the dogs chase each other and bark, the kids next door are more behaved. People seem to hug and kiss the dog when they do something and then kiss the partner with the same lips. Adults seemed to be mating over the dogs. Dogs and dog parks are not for me. Either are kissing your ANIMALS.

Not necessarily the safest place if you have a small dog or elderly. Watch out for the dog owners who don’t pay attention to their dogs- the mob mentality is that a dog needs to be bleeding or physically hurt before you can ask an owner to control their dog. The big dog owners are known for bullying the small/elderly dog owners telling them to find another park rather than being responsible pet owners. It’s a nice park, kept clean.

Sucks to say but you can be to be very confrontational with the bad dog owners who don’t care what their dogs do. Recommend bringing a male friend if you are a woman because some will get aggressive and try and bully you but seem to be more responsive when the threat of actually being hurt is a possibility.

Not huge but clean and well built with a water fountain dog height and good double Gates for entry; love its mixed sized dogs and all breeds. Overall friendly crowd

I really liked this park. It's situated in a great location! Dog Area: - The dog park is not divided into zones for large and small dogs. - There is a drinking fountain for dogs. - The area is covered with short artificial grass. - There are many structures, like slides, for dogs to practice agility. - Large coniferous trees provide shade and add to the atmosphere. Additional Amenities: - Across from the dog park, there is an amazing and very interesting playground for children. - There are exercise machines for adults, including an elliptical. Important Information: - Be mindful of the operating hours. Although the park is open from 6 AM to 10 PM, on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, it is closed for cleaning from 8 to 11 AM. - While there is a grassy area nearby where you can walk your dog, you will need to keep them on a leash during cleaning times.

Not as spacious as other dog parks in San Diego but it’s downtown what can you expect! It’s a great green area with obstacles for enrichment and friendly dogs with responsible dog owners watching over the play. Smells like dog pee. Artificial turf with four dirt areas around trees and three total obstacles, we love taking our girls here!

I'm grateful that there is stellar park maintenance. The trash cans are tended to regularly as well as the Waste Bags are available for people to pick up and dispose easily.

This dog park is very dangerous to have your dog in. People are allowed to harass you. If you do anything, you will have to leave. Security is a joke. They will do nothing to help you. I would find a better dog park. Dog walkers have 8 to 10 dog's at once. Making the dog park over packed. So everyone else go somewhere else, or come back another time. When the dog walkers are done working for the day. People bring untrained dogs they get from the dog pound. They use are dog's to help train there dog's. Some dogs are dangerous for are dogs. Are dogs get hurt, the owner of the other dogs run before the police get there. We lose are dogs. Please don't go to this park. For you and your dogs safety.
