I had a job interview there today. What an amazing canine day care and boarding facility! Very pet friendly and pampering your pet is their goal. They even have an indoor water park for the dogs and a tiki bar for the adult dog owners. Very clean and well staffed.

First time bringing our high energy border collie here. The park tired him out (thank goodness!) The staff are very welcoming and I appreciate that they love on all of the dogs. We will definitely be back!

Great place to bring your dog. This was our 1st time and our dog loved it. The staff was excellent. We drove an 1hr and 1/2 to visit and will do it again. Highly Recommend!!! We love bringing our dogs to this park; however, after our last experience, I’m not too sure we will be going back. It must not be a requirement to actually like dogs to work here. We paid for an hour but left very well before then due to poor customer service. One employee in particular made us incredibly anxious with the way they handled our dogs. This made the environment very unwelcoming and uncomfortable to be in. We are hoping this is not always the case if we do choose to return.

Update: We tried to go back for another visit and they could not find us in their system. It was frustrating after several previous visits there. They wanted his shot records again (which we only brought the first time and have never been asked for since) and us to re register like we had never been there. Maybe they got a new system, no one said a thing as to why he would not pull up in the system but suddenly we were being turned away because they were following some policy NEVER previously enforced and it sounds from other recent reviews that other folks have run in to the very same issue. We ended up just leaving with a very confused pup and won't be back as the manager on duty didn't seem like she wanted to get to the bottom of the issue. All she did was kept pointing to the waiver on the counter saying it stated you must bring the dog's shot records every time you come in. I'm sorry but I do not drive around with my dogs shot records in my cars. The entrance seems too small for dogs coming in and out from nail trim clinics and to gain entrance to the splash park with this new procedure , it can get very stressful for the dog and owners and even louder especially when running into a snag like we and others recently have. Dog-friendliness It's a dog splash park....enough said goodness sakes

I've been here a handful of times when it's raining or snowing and we can't go to the regular dog park. My mini Aussie loves it every time. My dog doesn't particularly like water but the water only sprays once every few minutes. So my dog can enjoy the whole park but just moves out of the pool area while the water is on. The staff is SO nice and they give attention to every single dog. Like I was blown away how every employee took time to pet my dog while we were there. They have a little tiki bar with beer and seltzers and sell pizzas but I didn't get anything. They also sell some tshirts, dog toys, treats, etc.

My boy Huck was a member since he was 8 weeks old. Majority of the year spent here was great until a couple of incidents happened. There is an aggressive Great Dane there. He came after my 45lb. Springer twice. First time Huck had puncture wounds on his neck. I let it go. The second time as we walked in the Great Dane raced across the park coming after my dog. Their answer to the problem put Huck on a leash. Really???? Maybe the owner should put her AGGRESSIVE dog on a leash first. What it all comes down to here is the money. The owner of the Great Dane does daycare, Splash Bark, and classes. Which obviously aren’t working. The owner of the park is all about the cash flow not the safety of the dogs.

My dog is not suited for group play but my grand dog is so we took her here one afternoon and she really enjoyed it and we had a great time visiting with other dog owners. The Splash Bark has concessions for dogs and people and the fresh popcorn is especially delicious. It's super easy to get checked in and out and you might want to wear something casual because you could possibly get splashed...which is really fun!

My dogs loved it and the environment. But I have to say, all the staff are great except one employee, in particular a female. The last time my dog who was there had a harness on, and the female employee kept holding my dog-when my dog didn't do ANYTHING but be a dog. This time we came and had their harnesses off and my dog literally again didn't do anything, wasn't held. But the employee gave off a TERRIBLE vibe. All the other staff were great. I just want to be able to go there and ENJOY our time we paid for. We are all adults.

We (human and dog) love the splash park. My pup gets excited when going. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Always clean even on muddy days. My pup always comes home tired.

If you love your dog (and I really mean ❤️ you dog), then you will eventually find your way there. They have boarding, day school, daycare, and puppy classes in addition to the splash park. We've personally utilized all but the splash park and daycare. All the staff are friendly and invested in the welfare/wellbeing of your animal regardless if they're working dogs, or princesses like my baby girl Willow. Your dog will get the best care possible. Thank You SDK, especially for the photos on your website last week while she was being boarded. It made being away a little easier knowing she was having so much fun.

Dogs had a great time and my middle child loves her new toy pineapple. Staff is very friendly and it is a comfortable environment. Owners can relax with adult or regular beverages, free popcorn, and pizza. Though you can't control how dogs will behave, including mine after spending an hour there. I would recommend this place, especially on a warm day.

This place has always been my dogs favorite place. All of the sudden we go visit and they act like we don't have an account with them. They were extremely rude and unprofessional. My dogs are on their social media for proof of account. If you go here the dog will have fun, but the adults will be disrespected. Otto absolutely loves Splash Bark. Everyone is so friendly and great with dogs. The service to the humans is excellent as well. Getting a monthly membership was the best for us as we go 2-3 times a week for some socialization and play.

If I could give more stars in this review I would. We drove from illinois to this indoor park on the way to rapid city and could not have imagined a better experience. Special shout-out to Chloe and Alexa for AMAZING service and making our dog more comfortable as it was his first time in the park. FYI there are drinks AND food and free popcorn for the doggies! We took our German Shepherd - Husky mix puppy (8 months) here for the first time not really knowing what to expect. Although he had a good time I believe overall, Splash Bark isn't what we were expecting it to be. There were roughly 15 dogs besides ours running around and playing in the "puddle" with toys. Being his first time and with him being half Husky he wasn't really interested in getting wet really. It took him a while to even walk through the "puddle". We were expecting there to be more of a "pool" for them to play in rather than just the puddle with the occasional water squirting from different nozzles and a "rain maker". They do offer towels to use as well as blow dryers to dry your dog off before leaving which is nice. They also have a bar for both dog snacks as well as libations for the owners. Other dog services such as dog sitting and doggie daycare. I would say overall our dog enjoyed himself.

Great indoor area for your pet to run, meet friends (both canine and human!) Get an adult beverage and chill!

Just brought my dog here and he is the nicest and happiest dog who loves and KNOWS how to play and for my first time coming here I will definitely not going back. There is signs posted of “rules” that state if your dog is aggressive then this place is not recommended and there were 3 or more dogs growling and displaying malicious behavior towards my dog. No staff who are more concerned to serve drinks or owners to control there dog. We were only there for no less than 10 minutes and will not recommend to others.

Last year, I would’ve easily given this place five stars based on the friendly staff and great experience. Unfortunately, my recent visit with a puppy was much different. From the start, an employee kept interrupting my puppy’s attempts to socialize—stopping even playful interactions. I felt like I had to hover constantly just to prevent any “corrections,” which defeated the whole purpose of a dog social space. To make things worse, a regular guest’s small dog immediately attacked my pup. The owner brushed it off with, “Sorry, he’s just a grumpy old man!” Honestly, if a dog isn’t tolerant of others, maybe a public play area isn’t the right place for him. Another dog clearly wanted to interact, but its owners kept pulling it away—so much for socializing. The space itself is small but fun, with water features that are a nice touch. That said, charging $15 for a strict one-hour visit ($30 for three hours, and $60 for two dogs) feels steep, especially if you're just passing through and might only stay 1.5–2 hours. I used to recommend this spot and looked forward to it as a road trip stop, but I won’t be prioritizing Sioux Falls again. The Splash seems to cater more to a small local crowd than welcoming travelers or newcomers. 0:10 0:08 0:28
