Probably the best dog park in SF. Fenced. Parking on the streets. Amazing views.

It’s basically an entire city block, fenced in, and a beautiful blend of flat land and hillside. We’ve been here when there’s 10 dogs and when there’s 100 (seriously) and there’s room for everyone. 0:30 0:30 0:24

Best dog park in the city! It's fenced off, lots of variety in terrain and training areas. Everyone is kind and open about their dogs. Love this place! Follow my dog @basenjibitch

Nice, generally mellow dog park with lots of space and real grass. All breeds and sizes are just in one enclosure, but the space is so big that the dogs can find situations they are compatible with. We like it well enough that we visit from the East Bay when we're looking to mix up the parks for our 16 year old dog. Dog-friendliness That's the sole purpose of this park -- a mini dog paradise.

Open Space positive for fetch and running. Be attentive to your dog here. The park is closed every Wednesday and every Winter. Lots of wet dirt and mud, some tripping hazards in the upper area as well. Overall it is a respectable park, bring a towel in the car to dry off your pup or reduce the dirt buildup.

Best dog park in SF for big dogs! See before & after photo here

Great neighborhood dog park. Basically one big open field for running of leash and ball play. Small hiking trail with some step parts around the outside. Super friendly atmosphere. Fully fenced with double gated entrance. Parking can be scarce during busy times, would recommend walking there if possible.

Upper Douglass Dog Play Area has reopened today (Saturday March 25, 2022). The grass is lush and green and the dogs love it!

Wonderful place to take your dog's to run freely in a fenced in area. Was previously a softball field, so plenty big for all size dogs. Lots of grass, great view of downtown SF, water fountain, benches to sit on, shade from huge trees on the perimeter, sunny in the field, and plenty of great and responsible dog owners. Also lots of street parking, no parking lot.

Shush! This is our secret. Don't tell anyone how awesome this place is. It's not open Wednesday because Parks and Rec actually clean it every week.

Best dog park in the City! Lots of room to play, built in agility props, and so many dogs!! We drive here from the Sunset at least a couple times a week and it's our dog's favorite ever outing.

Easily the best dog park in the city. Awesome view, fully fenced in so you don’t have to stress about your dog running off. The people are chill, and there’s usually a good mix of dogs to play with—or plenty of space if your dog just wants to do their own thing. Definitely a go-to spot.

Love this spot!!!!! Wish it wasn’t closed on Wednesdays. My dog is obsessed and the dogs I walk are obsessed. They maintain this place very well and parking is never an issue

Arguably the best dog park in The City. It’s past life was a baseball field so it’s huge, and completely fenced in! If you’re daring, follow the trail to the left, up into the hill behind home plate for a bird’s eye views of the park and downtown. This trail isn’t for everyone. It’s steep and getting down on the right side requires some “rock hopping.” (You can obviously turn around and go back down the way you came up. One caveat, the park closes down for the winter to give the grass a chance to grow back.

Great gated open space for dogs to run and play. Huge grassy area with mulch along the perimeter. The park used to be a quarry, then a baseball field, now a dog park. There's a great trail along the top ridge of the park for hikes, as well. Water fountains provided, but bring poop bags, they don't provide them. Park hours are 7am - 9pm, and the park is closed during the winter months.

Great large space for fetch. It’s my dog’s favorite park. However, it does close for winter, usually in November. Lovely views of San Francisco for visitors that have their furry friends with them.

This review is on behalf of Irwin, who loves this park so much. Busiest times are 8-9:30am and 4:30-6:30pm. Two water fountains for thirsty dogs! Plus a hilly trail hike for the dogs who want to get away from the masses below. Irwin approves!
