UTC Mall dog park

Very small but it's more than most malls have specific for dogs.

So serene. There is an area that is fenced in where they can go without a leash as well. Clean and very dog friendly. My Ziggy loved it! Playground It is fenced and fun to run around. Grassy and shady with benches to sit on. Dog-friendliness Very dog friendly.

Very tiny for such a big place but thank goodness at least they had one for the pups. Dog-friendliness Very friendly, doggy drinking bowl all through the mall.

It's small but a very sweet dog park. My dog loved it and had a blast tearing through it. Mostly grass, which is great and there are nice, shaded benches.

A little small, good shade for humans. It's a bit of a walk if you don't want to pay for parking at the mall. Overall well maintained but very small

This is not a dog park but a nice formal & tiny gated grass area, not a park. Great if your at the mall & your dog needs a potty break. Clean, cute, but very small.

It's small, but it's relatively clean and super convenient having a dog park in the mall! It's located down the path to the right of Tender Greens. Hope that helps someone because it doesn't show up on the directory. The first time we went there were a lot of small dogs and our pup had a blast. The second time there were no dogs for a bit but she still loved running around. A big dog came in that was gentle with her and they had a great time chasing each other

Very simple dog park. Rarely other dogs here and it is a very small area so most dogs would not be able to run around. It is nice to be able to take a dog off lease, but overall more of a corral than a park.

Awesome place to visit in the morning allow your pets to roam freely under supervision Park is clean no suspicious activity although the park is closed Sunset to Sunrise daily neighborhood friendly Park remember masks are required.

Very small but clean and nice vibe. No room for running but good for a potty brake. I think naming it a dog park is a bit misleading for what it is.

Very small park. Perfect for tiny dogs to have a little off leash break. Also great spot to start or end walking the trail that is across the street. Has 2 Adirondack chairs and a wooden bench to sit right at the entrance. A mini book library. On the grass area 2 large flat top rocks allow seating as well. Cute little dog park at the mall. There is a doggy water fountain, benches to sit on, and a little area your dogs can play or use the bathroom.

I wouldn't personally bring my dog to a mall but for those who do, this is a great little dog park to let your pups run around. It's all grass and has small benches near the entrance. It's tucked in behind the food court (you go down the ramp near Starbucks just outside the food court). It's always quiet there, I've seen two dogs there at the most at any given time. You will see people walking by, so this would be a good place to expose your puppy to people without overwhelming them.

The only San Diego mall I know of that has a little dog park, and my dog loves playing there. The pathway down to the park is nice as well.

A bit hard to find, and small, but there was no one else there early Sunday morning. It was perfect - it had grass, shrubs, benches, water bowl, shade, and even a little free library stand! Might get crowded when the mall is open.

The UTC Mall dog park is very good. It's small, but it has a number of good features. It's mostly grassy and it's pretty well design. It has a floral overhang so you can stay out of the sun if you desire. There are usually sweet dogs there and nice people. The only thing that is kind of weird about it is that it only has one door rather than the normal 2 door system so dogs can't run out. The other thing is that it's not really well marked for people to find it does have a flag type sign and some dog paw marks but I have to say I don't think that makes it very clear it's not on the UTC Mall directory. However I'm still giving it five stars. The UTC Mall is a great dog mall and it's filled with tons of great dogs with their owners walking around the mall. The UTC Mall is a great mall. So it's an all-around good thing to have even though it's small it's really useful and tucked away just past and to the right of the food court.

i dont know if the WHOLE park is considered a "dog park" but they do have a gated/fenced section that you can bring your dog OFF leash and let them roam (INSIDE THE GATED AREA ONLY) The area that is gated is quite small. Now the rest of the park is HUGE. there's a slight decline headed from the Mall down to the park, but it's a long trip with ample greenery. They have sprinklers so the grass is actually green, and the trees are well trimmed and maintained. Sometimes you'll hear owls and other birds in the trees above you, especially on a summer day, bring a mat and some food you bought at UTC and enjoy the sun. Playground I didn't see any playgrounds in this area. just open field grass. Be careful in the AM, sometimes theres homeless sleeping around until the guards kick them out around 10/11am. Restrooms They dont have restrooms at this "park" but there are many at the UTC mall. however it is quite a walk depending on where you are at the "park". Dog-friendliness Dogs can only be OFF LEASH in the GATED AREA. it's small. so if u have a pug or frenchie, yes it's a good enough size.. if u have anything bigger than a beagle, probably not gonna be a good spot for your dog unless it just needs to use the bathroom. Picnic area GREAT Picnic area. not many tables/chairs, but bring ur own mat and chill on the ground and soak up the gass.

Nice, small, but convenient dog park in UTC. The doggy water fountain was clogged. Human seating could be better/cleaner. Otherwise it's a great place to let your dog off leash for a bit.

Tiny little dog park in the mall has seating, water, grass, and good fence. Nothing to write home about, but it is enough for the smaller dogs to have a good time. Your dog would love you that much more if you drive 5 minutes to Doyle Dog park or just walk him/her 2 minutes from this tiny one down to the large grassy area.
