Beautiful park honestly and a great place to spend your afternoon. Its just a shame that people have thrown their rubbish into the water ways instead of the bins avaliable as it totally makes the park seem unkempt which is a real shame.

The park is wonderful. It has a magnificent view of Downtown and plenty of spots for outdoor photoshoots. The autumn colors in this park are simply stunning!

Living in Tulsa for about half of my life, I never knew this place existed. It was always somewhere we drove by and never gave a second glance. In my review of the park, it's a nice place to take a walk, enjoy some pretty views of the gardens and water features. There are a few art pieces along the paths. Downsides of the park are the homeless that roam around, the trash people leave behind, the parking, and a few graffitied areas. You can get a decent photo of downtown if you choose a good time.

What an incredible park for the downtown area. We enjoyed our CF walk with Tulsa Great Strides on May 4th along with the special appearance from the 501st Legion Star Wars Fans! It was a beautiful day and a very nice walk around the pond with all the ducks. Only bad thing was there was only 2 porta potties outside for everyone. Not sure if the inside is open for non events, but definitely worth the mention for others wanting to visit the area.

This is a lovely park with paved trails. It connects to the Midland Valley Trail which takes you to a park, tennis/pickleball courts and Oaklawn Cemetery. One corner of the cemetery is dedicated to the victims of the 1921 Tulsa Race Massacre. It's hard to think about the sheer hatred of those that led the violence to the community. May the victims rest in peace.

Had some time to spare before going for dinner on a Sunday evening in May, and decided to go here, having read online that I could get a good shot of downtown from here. Actually got better shots driving south on Peoria, but still a very nice park. Easy to find parking either in the park's designated area, or on the streets around. Dog-friendliness Yes to dogs Picnic area Lots of nice grass to set up a picnic on

I love taking my dog Renee on walks there. The park surrounds a beautiful lake. I would have given 5 stars except for when it rains, there's a lot of soil run off to the sidewalks. The city should have better ground cover there. Then there is always litter from homeless people. I'm not sure about the answer for that issue. I will continue to Renee there as she enjoys the walks there Playground No playground or bathrooms. Dog-friendliness Another of people walk their dogs there. Picnic area There are no picnic tables, but there are lots of places to put a blanket to sit on and picnic in sun or shade.

Nice park for the most part. A little more litter than I like to see and it's a nice mix of pill bottles, QT, and narcan.

Although there was some trash in the water, it didn't show in my photos. Lots of photographers were doing family portraits against the backdrop of beautiful fall foliage. Nice path around the park, along the water, with plenty of places to stop and rest for people with mobility issues. It's a really beautiful place to visit when the leaves are changing color! Could it feel "sketchy" if you're walking alone? At night, definitely. During the day, it seemed fine. +47 6 Share Response from the owner 2 years ago We are happy you found the park a great place to take photos! We know that the trash in the pond is unsightly and our park is next on our list to get dredged and cleaned and we can't wait! It takes a lot of work and effort to do, but we know it certainly needs it.

It was a solid walking park. Beautiful landscape and sidewalks were nice and level. This park has a lot of potential. If they stocked the lake with fish it would make a world of difference for the ecosystem and provide more activities for families. I filled a plastic grocery bag of trash bc I had to catch something and trash and minnows are the only things in the water. Unfortunately that didn't even make a dent. Have a litter crew come in; stock the lake and you've got a 5 star park. It seems like a the attention is on the riverfront project. That too is Beautiful and definitely worth checking out! The Arkansas river was the only place I was able to catch largemouth bass while staying in downtown Tulsa.
