We LOVE this place :) best park in town! All the fun wildlife viewing, excellent birding, beavers, and puppies! Great mix of lawn for running, woods with trails, and water to cool off in on hot summer days.

Best dog park ever! Open green areas, wooded trails, water access, and no leash = my dog's idea of a great time. I've taken my dog to several of the off leash parks, and this one is for sure his favorite so far. Warner Dog Park offers a variety of stimuli for your doggo beyond other dogs. Lake shore is very shallow in most areas, so less worry about your dog getting in over its head. Park has lots of short walking trails that take you in and out of wooded areas with beautiful scenery. I've seen loads of ducks on the lake, heard cranes above, and an exchange between dog owners about colonoscopies. My dog gets pretty dirty after playing at Warner, but it is worth it to let my dog feel wild and primal. Bonus: the dog owners at this park seem a little more chill than some of the other parks.

By far the best dog park in Madison. Lake access, open fields for running/playing fetch, wooded trails for walking, shaded areas with picnic tables to sit and meet other locals. Sectioned off area for small dogs. Warner Park is everything you could want in a dog park

This is our absolute favorite dog park in Madison! Such a beautiful path along the water, with lots of room to explore and run free! Lucy and Stella would give it 10 stars each if they could! Dog-friendliness Two entrances with space to unleash. Lots of room for free play or to follow the path along the water!

This is one of my favorite off leash dog parks in Dane County. The Northside is great - there's clean water for all the doggie paddles, wooded and sunny trail areas and nesting Eagles this year (lots of water birds in general as well). My dogo's & I love this place! Still one of our favorite!

We live on the west side and are willing to make the drive to Warner. It has shaded places/tables to sit, open field, wooded paths and water to explore. These photos are from our first visit when our pup FINALLY learned to enjoy water. He’d actively avoid it until he saw other dogs playing in it here. Friendly people & pups.

Great dog park. Lots of shaded wooded areas and multiple spots for your dog to take a dip in the water. You can check the Madison Parks website for algae status. There is a smaller area for small/geriatric dogs.

Warner Dog Park has very large small dog and large dog areas, access to swimming, and shaded paths along the water front for when it's hot. Not to mention it's natural beauty and wildlife. We love going there!

We're all coming out of our gopher hole and taking the pooches to the park. Truth be told this park was on and poppin' all winter long. This park is among our favorites. It's such a nice park. I can't say it enough. Playground This is plenty of space for the pooches to run around. There is a beach area for the animals to take a quick cool dip. Restrooms The restrooms are in the warner park pavilion area. Not a long walk at all. Dog-friendliness Very dog friendly. Yearly passes are posted for purchase
