Bring my daughters here in the evening during summer. In the daytime it's just too hot! Usually not that many kids there. Sometimes teams are practicing on the baseball and/or soccer fields. Just recently realized that there's a pool next door too! Don't know why or how I missed that one! Bathrooms are a bit dodgy sometimes. All in all its an OK park!

This park is huge. They've got a large and small dog park with water fountains for dogs. The dog park is by the tennis courts. They also have a bitchin adult playground fitness course. It's like a mini ninja warrior set

My dog loves this park! I swear he is smiling the entire time we are there. He isn't like that at other parks. With some very few exceptions...the dogs at the small dog area are watched good by their parents. Hardly ever is there a dog fight. Mostly everyone is very friendly to each other. Area for the dogs is pretty good sized. My dog loves the swimming pool during the summer. We moved from the area for a while but he is sooooo happy we moved back! Playground A small playground for kids is there. Restrooms I heard there are restrooms but never looked for them personally. Dog-friendliness Large and small dog parks here Picnic area A few picnic tables and grills available

Washington Pool Aquatics program I’ve been using the City of Phoenix swimming programs for over 27 years, and I can honestly say this year has been one of the most impressive experiences yet. The level of instruction, encouragement, and overall environment at Washington Pool has exceeded all my expectations. The instructors don’t just teach swimming—they help build confidence, emotional safety, and a deeper understanding of the water. As someone who took a swim class over 20 years ago and still didn’t know how to swim, I finally decided to try again this year. I’m so glad I did. I’m learning at my own pace, gaining confidence in the water without feeling stressed or pushed. My 10-year-old son also enrolled and learned incredibly fast. The teaching style at this location truly makes learning fun and effective. Special thanks to Lucas, who taught my son with so much patience and joy, encouraging him to grow and love the class. I also want to highlight the outstanding staff: 💧 Felipe, my swim trainer, has helped me learn more than I ever thought possible. 💧 Eric Swan, the pool manager, is always attentive and ensures everything runs smoothly. 💧 Maribel, who welcomes you with such warmth when you walk in, makes you feel like family. This program has been a healing and empowering journey for both me and my son. Thank you to everyone at Washington Pool for the love and dedication you pour into your work!

A lot of fun, but alot of trash. I'm not sure if it's because it's the day after Halloween but my boys 4&7 really enjoyed all there was to do! Playground Lots of fun for different ages Dog-friendliness So many dogs! 🐕 Picnic area Lots of ramadas with tables

The bathrooms had no doors, but one of the parks we visited was great, not crowded at all when we went at 10am

Playground looked interactive and fun. The ninja course seems like a great idea but had a few pieces broken and no instructive signs. Nice tennis courts and walking paths here. Yes, there are homeless folks around. Playground Great

There's nice green grass, water, water buckets, shade trees, and the people pay attention to their dogs.. they pick up after their dogs, too. I go in the morning and people are welcoming. There's also great bird watching there from love birds to birds of prey.
