I had high hopes but this place flops. Unmaintained and weeds growing everywhere. Foxtails especially, which are known to give dogs health complications. Has good potential but San Jose needs to upkeep this place to make it dog friendly.

It’s a fine dog park, but it needs more DOGS! Its clean and comes with a water fountains for the dogs.

The dog park portion was empty. Dog park was filled with wood chips which my dogs didn't love but tolerated. Some people walking around the small track. There was also some random shopping carts of stuff, suitcase, homeless camp garbage. I didnt feel unsafe though

Came to watch the dogs.. and I loved the environment. Dogs all played together and behaved, as it should be. Will def be bringing my dog now that I've checked it out

This dog park is disgusting. There's gum on the floor and cigarettes buds and trash everywhere

Very neat new place, I went to that elementry school and lived across from this park, I moved away when I was 10, visited the area periodically but never came to this park for anything really because it was practically a gang park n homeless people. Its been cleaned, upgraded and looks well maintained, way to go San Jose Parks and Rec.🙌🏽🥰❤

This is one of the newer dog parks in San Jose, and I appreciate that they made the effort. It's clean, and when I've been there the people and dogs have been nice. It is however tiny. Really tiny. Also a sidewalk is right outside one of the long sides of the dog park, so there are people and bicycles and walking dogs for the dogs inside the park to react to only a foot or two away. The last few times we've gone, there have not been any other people or dogs inside the park for us to play with. There must be a particular time of day when people turn up, but it's not the times we guess.

Very big park but no grass and wood chips are a little hard for small dogs. Grass is better option for dogs. Sunday morning around 10 am, it was just my dog not sure why this big place doesn't get busy!

This park needs improved. Lots of drifters and homeless type folks running in and out that park

Small, but nice and underused. It has 2 separate enclosures. I was disappointed when the MP school district locked the 9 acre fallow field between August Boger and Fernish Park. Several of us used to let our muttleys run free there for years, and I never saw any problems. This is a tiny and underused local dog park that's an alternative. Big Puppy has just enough space to run out her energy.

Great place, we had an Easter egg hunt with 7000 eggs for the community in the area. Its a very large park and there is alot of areas to have a picnic or barbecue. There is lots of grass and not alot of dirt, so if it rains there wouldn't be alot of mud.

Big park, real grass, lots of friendly dogs pretty clean. Noisy because it’s right by the highway.

Hella sketchy. Tons of homeless people in the area and trash everywhere. Not safe dogs or children.

Went there for 1st time June 12, 2023, recommended by a clueless local politician. It's been closed since last September!!

Terrible dog park. Do not take your dogs here. I took my small dogs here and it was the worst experience. The fence in between the small and big dog is not secure! The fence was easily pushed by someone's pitbull. The huge dog could have easily gotten through and the owner did nothing to prevent their dog from pushing the fence. Luckily I was able to quickly pick up my dogs before anything happen.

This is a small but clean dog park. They don't provide poop bags or a shovel, so bring your own! There is a dog water station and a few benches along the perimeter. The whole play area is tanbark, which I think is great for the pups. There is a separate small and large dog play area. The large dog play area isn't huge, but it's definitely enough for the big dogs to get up to full speed for a good chase. It seems to die down by 6:30pm, so come between 4 and 6 if you want any play time with other dogs. I've never seen more than 4 dogs here at a time.

Pretty small compared to Hellyer. No shade. No grass all tanbark. Not impressed at all
