Best dog park around. Grassy large field for long runs, water hoses accessible and lots of benches. Nice place to meet new dogs and their humans.

We visited this park 3 times over 3 days while visiting Burlington area this summer. This is a very nice small park with gated/fenced options for mellow and energetic dogs. Each time we visited all the dogs were on the energetic side of the fence but all seemed mellower than dogs we have seen in any other dog park! Many were just hanging out, lying down. Kind of funny.... Anyway, it's a nice place to visit. It's not completely free of mudzones however, so be careful if it's been raining.

Best dog park in Vermont. The upkeep is unrivaled and they stock by far the best dog poop bags

Beautiful park built with no corners so dogs can't get surrounded or stuck. There's so much space and every owner we've met is responsible, careful, helpful and fun!

The entrance gets SUPER muddy sometimes, but I love that this park is on a hill (to wear out the pups quicker 🤣) …

I absolutely love this dog park, however I feel like there is room for improvement. Putting a bench in the smaller dog section and a shade option would be great and it would help everyone out. Especially considering that people have brought dogs with anxiety issues that bite into the larger section so that they can use the bench near the shade tree.

I will never go back to this dog park I went in with my dog and there were two other dogs there that immediately attacked my dog with the owner standing there watching it happen and not doing nothing about it I took my dog and went home these ladies for the rudest people I have ever met I kindly ask them to help and put their dog on a leash or something and they just ignored me

Good sized park. Separate areas by energy level, not dog size (high energy vs. mellow) People were not friendly - not actively unfriendly, but no greeting from a single person, and they were all chatting in little cliques. Grass ground cover, but it's mostly worn away on the hillside, which, i suspect, would make it fairly slippery in rain or snow. Only shade is from the trees at the top of the hill. There is a water spigot, trash and poop bags. There are also trails for on-leash walks outside the dog park.

Fantastic dog park. Both a large dog and small dog area. Great location and atmosphere. Really awesome entry system so no pups get lost! Highly recommend! Dog-friendliness Off leash dog park

Large grassy play area. Has a large "more active" dog play area that has a slope to help tire em out, and a medium-sized "less active" play area. Water is at the top of the slope. Dedicated dog area parking spots. Usually lots of other dogs too. Dog-friendliness Water and poo bags available.

Excellent!! One of the best dog parks to which we’ve taken our dog! Owners are attentive, the space is clean, the space is very big and divided by active vs mellow dog, which was great.

Beautiful nature trails with views of Green Mountains. Dogs must be on leash but many are off. Wild flowers are abundant in some areas and some trails go through woods. Can be muddy at times so wear your muck boots. Bathrooms at Dorset park. Dog-friendliness Dogs must be on leash but many are off.

Good park. Mostly decent people. However, parking is a nightmare when there is a baseball/softball game or Thursday night music in the park. Most if not all of the parking is taken up by people to lazy to park where they are supposed to. The parks department also doesn't take good care of the park. So the grass is usually very long and the holes only ever get filled by patrons of the park. Which would be fine if the parks department provided the soil. Also be warned a member of the parks department frequents the park and thinks she runs the place. Even saying "if it wasn't for me you wouldn't have a park." This is a direct quote from Betty Milizia the board chair...

A big park with lots of responsible owners and sweet pups! People clean up after their dogs and help out if your dog just refuses to leave if they're having too much fun.
