Nice dog park. Excellent view and clean. A little small. No water fountain for dogs. Dog-friendliness Dog park

I'm torn about this dog park! Park is a stretch, it's just a run. It's completely gravel. The seating was comfortable and cool, but the dust kicked up from the gravel from all the running. There's water from the ground fountains as you walk away from the run, but no water in the dog rum

A nice area to bring your family out to eat, have a picnic. Or let your kids play in the water fountains or man made lake/pool.

Why is this dog park covered in what I can only describe as gravel dust?? Even a dog just picking up a little speed while running kicks up a cloud of dust. Wrestling dogs get especially coated, and when the dust mixes with any saliva from play biting, it makes like a gross paste on their fur. My black dog was quickly covered in dust and I soon had dust all over my sandals and feet and dusty paw prints on my pants. I’m not picky about dog parks. I assumed that any fenced area would be fine. But this is next level. Don’t come here unless you have time to give your dog (and yourself!) a bath right after. The latch on the inner gate also did not work. I couldn’t get it to go into the groove, so unfortunately that gate doesn’t close properly.

It was nice if it had fake grass. It’s too dusty and the rocks hurt my dog’s paws.

Interesting to visit from landscape design/urban design. Nice view to water

To call this a dog park is like calling a portajohn a bathroom. This park is comprised of crushed rock which means on a dry day it’s a dust bowl and on a rainy day it turns into a mud pit. Additionally, it’s not taken care of, because of its construction, dogs are able to dig which results in large holes around the fence line and beneath the benches. At nighttime it’s lack of lighting makes it rather dark and sketchy.

Beautiful

It's a great park when it's not flooded. Capital Riverfront is pretty good about making sure there are poop bags. There is no pet water available.

The only thing I’d recommend about this park is its location & proximity to the riverfront. In terms of size, amenities, & cleanliness, this is not a great park. Very small. No water. Always floods with stagnant water for days when it rains.

--SIZING-- Just one area for all dogs. Very small sized park. Waist-height fences. --SURFACE-- All gravel; no dirt or grass. --WATER-- No water available on-site. --SHADE-- No shade. --INTERACTION-- There's nothing for dogs to interact with. --ENVIRONMENT-- Beside a busy park and some industrial noise, but not too loud. --SEATING-- A few nice benches.

Wish there was water here but overall great experience for my boy! Community very friendly and welcoming! Lots to see and do and most all the restaurants with patio seating are very dog friendly.

Its a great park all together. I do some teaching there for Power Tots on Saturdays. However the dogs are suppose to be leashed and no body really follows that rule. Letting the dogs run right up to us and the kids.
